Breakfast was buffet style, ample freshly cooked food and good selection of cereals. Rooms were bright and clean and very comfortable. Good sized bath. Ironing facilities and hairdryers in the room. Decent sized swimming pool. The hotel is within walking distance of the centre of Ballinasloe town. All in all excellent hotel with excellent facilities. Would definitely recommend and would stay there again

A beautiful family retreat
The picturesque lobby with fine chandeliers set an elegant mood upon arrival. The kids adored their playful tent, and we enjoyed the warm pool every day.
The breakfast staff seemed overwhelmed, and our order took far longer than expected. The room had a slight warmth issue that lingered throughout our stay.

The treatment from the staff. The flexibility to accomodate requests . Food was also very good.
The price of my room was an increase on what booking. Com quoted. You offered cancellation without a fee and when I cancelled one of the two nights I had originally booked with ample notice -the rate per night went up 40 euros! If I had booked with the wedding originally I would have got it much cheaper. It was also too high a rate for a west of Ireland town .

Omg, this hotel is sooo nice! The pool is amazin and the staff are, like, super kind-best ever. Our family room was fab with a teepee for the kids and a smart tv for me to watch my shows. The breakfast was yummm and u can have as much as u want. Perfect location too, right near the river for fun!
But we waited too long for our ice cream and my husband's dinner was missing at first. Some things seemed a bit chaotic with the service.

Family stay with lovely service
The staff were really good especially a lovely lady named Elaine who arranged a surprise birthday cake for my partner during dinner. The pool was a highlight for us, warm and immaculate, perfect for the kids to enjoy.
It was a bit pricey but worth it for the experience we had.

Child-friendly facilities, warm swimming pool, convenient internet access
Cleanliness of the pools and changing facilities could really use a thorough inspection!!! Poor air conditioning in multiple rooms indicates a significant maintenance issue that should be addressed urgently!!! Consider improving staff training to enhance service quality!!!

Good value, considering that everything is very convenient. The venue is quaint, fairly clean and the location is lovely and beautiful near to all the restaurants, the Shearwater on a Sunday for the fantastic entertainment and leisure centre. The atmosphere of the hotel is family.

Had an absolutely fabulous stay at this hotel last Friday night. We got an excellent deal through Booked.net (€49 for a double room for one night) and were instantly upgraded to a beautiful suite when we arrived. It was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and very quiet. The hotel food was delicious. We were extremely impressed with the staff (they had catered specially for us as we were on a vegan diet and had gone beyond the call of duty with the food they had ordered in for us which was much appreciated, and the girl on reception was extremely helpful). Definitely one of the best experiences I've ever had at a hotel.
